Rhys Bowen:
~I met with the producer who wants to bring Constable Evans to TV while I was in UK. She's having a tough time convincing Welsh television that this is the kind of TV police drama they want. They want Wales to look tough and edgy--urban setting etc. How silly when the rest of the world loves the quirky country feel of Wales! Still, we're still hoping.
~And the movie of Her Royal Spynss seems to be moving ahead nicely. The movie company in UK is working with a screen writer and wants to renew my option, so keep your fingers crossed for that one.
~Finally, thank you all for your wonderful support. I really appreciate hearing from you and meeting you at my book signings. It is heartwarming for a writer to know that her books are appreciated!

Jan Dunlap:
~ I'm pleased to announce that the newest Birder Murder mystery, titled "A Bobwhite Killing," is ready to roll off the press in early September! Hailed by an Amazon.com reviewer as "EVERYTHING A COZY MYSTERY SHOULD BE. A wonderful new series here!", my Bob White Birder Murder books continue to attract new readers and win fans among birders and mystery-lovers alike. The Birder's Library website called the first book in the series, "A Boreal Owl Murder," a "good, light read," while the birding reviewer at About.com says the second book in the series, "Murder on Warbler Weekend" is a "cunning mystery."

Jeanne Glidewell:
~The publisher is now considering my third Lexie Starr novel HAUNTED. With any luck at all, it will come out in2010.

Penny Warner:
~HOW TO CRASH A KILLER BASH, my new book in the Presley Parker Event Planner mystery series set at the de Young Museum, comes out August 3rd at your local bookstore or online.
